*ＵＦＯです。ユーフォーじゃないぞユーエフオーと読みます。７０’ｓハードロックのライブ名盤の一つに数えられる７９年の「ＵＦＯライヴ」。「ブ」じゃありません。「う」に「”」で「ヴ」です。ヘビーメタルとゆうよりハードロックか。いやこれこそヘビーメタルか。あ、聴いてるとあの人の顔がにょみーんと出て来る。日本メタル界のウナギイヌ
と呼ばれます伊藤政則氏
。今もＵ局の「ロック・シティ」って番組でご尊顔拝めます。最高です政則氏。どんなに笑える展開の時でも眉間に皺を寄せて真剣に訴えられます。その気になります。メタルはその気にさせてもらうととても嬉しい。その首尾一貫ぶりや尊敬の一語。このまま９０歳になろうが１２０歳になろうがあのままやって欲しい。政則氏倒るる時あらばこの世からメタルが消えてしまうぞえ。日本盤ＬＰに案の定政則氏の解説が付いてます。見開き２ページに渡る大力作。最後の言葉は「期待と不安が、７９年の幕開けと同時いよいよＵＦＯ待望のライブ・アルバムがリリースされる。」って聴いてないのかよ(^0^)。何をそんなに書いているのかとゆうと、ＵＦＯのそれまでの歴史を口角泡飛ばして。聴かずして書くのさぞかし無念だったでありましょう。日本盤ＣＤではリベンジされてるのかな？そんな泡の力作バイオを読んだからでもありますが、ＵＦＯはとても苦労の香りがするメタル・バンドです。若気の至りでマイナー・レーベルと契約して日本とドイツで人気沸騰もそれ以上のブレーク叶わず。やっとクリサリスと契約した時にはギタリストがやめて。ごり押しで前座やってくれたり縁のあったスコーピオンズのマイケル・シェンカー氏を引き抜いて。そりゃもうこの世界で４番でエース級の人ですから、ドカーンとブレーク。ところがぎっちょんちょん、英語の話せぬシェンカー氏、詰まらん落ち込むと程なく脱退してしもて、このライブが最後とな。
考えてみますとハードロックが幸せな時代って短こうございました。それにあわすようなまるで。最近のライブをＣＳで拝見いたしたけんど、これがまた悲しみ５倍増し。しかーし、このアルバムは悲しみを背中に背負って光を湛えた太陽だ。録音はプロレスの殿堂、アメリカはシカゴ・アンフィシアター。ぎゃおと一発で目に焼きつくジャケットはヒプノシス。曲はグレーテストな世間でヒットしていないグレートな曲ばかり。ドクタードクター。
これだけは全英３５位だ。ヴォーカルはフィル・モグ氏。
名前かわいすぎ。ぱぴぷぺぱぴっちょ・ぽぴぷぺぽモグたーーん。
何がワンダホって曲が素敵なのだ。ハード・ロック的キャッチーさに溢れています。泣きもありのリフレイン一緒に歌えの。どっかで聴いたことあるじゃんと仰る無かれ。メタルはロックの歴史のモツ煮込み。美味しい汁をぎょっと集めた助け合い精神の音楽です。あの快感を楽しもう運動。この世界で一つやばいのは重厚長大にややもなるやも。延々と続くエンディングとか。物事は時が進むとエスカレートします。しかしそれが無しＵＦＯ。ちょうどええとこで切り上げてパシと決める。苦労人は空気がっ読める。そしてシェンカー氏のギタア。かっこいい。ぞーーーー。まずでかい音を出すのに巨大なエネルギーを要した、ハードロック・メタルの掛替えの無い遺産なり。ロックミロックミー。
