です。よくぞ付けたり邦題。正にこの時ＡＣ／ＤＣはハード・ロック界の征服者。８０年から８１年にかけてのバック・イン・ブラック、ダンドンチー、悪魔の招待状の新体制３枚はド強力でした。しかしなんつう邦題だ全然原題と関係無し。これではジャケでアンガスちゃんが何やってるのかさっぱしわからん。これは別に神棚にお神酒上げている最中では無くて、スイッチを入れてるご様子です。でかいよ。このスイッチはあれだあな、爆弾点火の時のＳＷだな。さー行きまっせと買った時点で用意を迫る。アナログでは地味にタイトル字以外は立体盛り盛りしてるんだけどＣＤではどうかな。前作から１年１０ヶ月経っております。その間のんびりしてる訳も無く怒涛のスタジアム・ライブ行脚。全部ソールドアウト。いやー見たかったこの時期のＡＣ／ＤＣ。さーでっかくなってさらなる出発だと録音場所に選んだは何とバハマはコンパス・ポイント・スタジオ。発売当時本アルバムは、どうも評判悪かったらしく。もしかして中身関係無くバハマで録音てのが理由かな。ＡＣ／ＤＣには似合わーん。ゆっくり日光浴しながらリラックスしてさーとか。当時旬のスタジオでありました。アイランド・レコードの本拠地で訪れるミュージシャン枚挙にいとまなし。アイランドのグレース・ジョーンズ嬢とかはもちろん、トムトム・クラブでしょ、フランス親父セルジュ・ガンズブール氏まで。ハウス・バンドがスライ＆ロビーのレゲエ隊ってことでその音を求めて。独特の音が有ります。ちょっとレンジ狭目のキリっとしまった感じの。アビーロードとかコロラドのカリブ・ランチ、ＮＹパワーステーションが一時代の音を作ったように、ここもこの音を聴くと時を思い出す。で、ＡＣ／ＤＣがやってどうなったかっつうと・・・これがやっぱコンパス音だぜ。だけんどさすがにトムトムみたいでも無くもちろんスラロビ参加でレゲでも無い。乾いた感じ、ちょっと火を近づければボワっっと燃えちゃう音質を加味してのいつものＡＣ／ＤＣでござる。そしてでっかい変化が。ずっとコンビを組んでたプロデューサー、ロバート・ジョン・ランジ氏と離れてセルフ製作に。エンジニアは当地お抱えアレックス・サドキン氏ではなく（まさかねえ）、ロバートさんの弟子筋のトニー・プラットさん。もう自らやりたいことはすっかり見えてる。思う存分やりますのアルバムだ。やってるぞ。

の歌と来たら、相変わらずよくもまあこんな声を出せるなってなもんで。声帯だけ人のものじゃ無くて牛とか犀なんじゃないかまったく。アンガスちゃんのハードロック・ロビー・ロバートソン、コキカキ・ギターも絶好調。
もう完璧なチームワークの下、ＡＣ／ＤＣの音楽が固まりになってぶっ飛んできます。曲だって名曲揃い。飛んでくるリフまたリフは弩髪天だしフックは効いてるしキャッチーだし。ゼップ直系なのにＡＣ／ＤＣそのものだし。
なのに何でだ何でだ。後年ライブで定番となった曲が無いような。何でだ。完璧なシングルが真ん中でどでんつう盤て言うより最高に元気な、あっしでっせの掛替えの無い記録盤なのかもしれん。
さて気になるはタイトル曲。何のスイッチを入れてるのかいな。

せっかく征服者になったのにー。
