英国の誇る大スペクタクル・セクシイ・アクション映画「００７シリーズ」のベスト・アルバムです。
うちに有りますのは１９８２年に出たＬＰ。何とこれがオリジナルサウンドトラック・ベストとしては世界最初だったそうで。ほんとかー。何か問題があったのか、それとも忘れていたのか(^0^)。その時点まで「ユア・アイズ・オンリー」までのものを収録。現在では４０周年記念のバッチリＣＤ有り。しかしそれはどうゆう訳か曲目が映画登場順じゃ無いのです。ま、ＣＤですから再生順番を好きに変えればいいんだけどよう。それにしても意図不明。いとをかし。で、ＬＰの方ですけど、初のベストにしてこのジャケはどーだ。英国モデルクラブからかき集めた女人を取り合えず英国水着クラブからレンタルした水着を着させてその辺の公園の一角で記念撮影の巻。下でにやけてるのは三代目ボンド、”殿下”ロジャー・ムーアさん。
日本盤なんで当然解説が入ってるのですけど、一切音楽についての記述は無しつう。映画の説明だけ。あ、有った「ゴキゲンだ」って書いてある。そりゃゴキゲンだ。さすがサントラ盤、独自の世界で有ります。
００７！その響きを聞くだけで冒頭の銃口窓からＢＡＮＧ！。お馴染みのタイトルが。もうそれだけでワクワクだぞ。４０年シリーズですから、ボンドと聞けばどの俳優さん思い出すかで世代がわかってしまう。職場の飲み会でその話題が出たら、ボンドつうたらこの人だって掴みあいの無礼講発生したりして。おもしれー。
私は当然、初代元祖本家のショーン・コネリー氏！！だ。

Ｍｒジョン・バリー！！エクセレント。
あのテーマが無くっちゃここまでこの映画が有名になったかどうかわかりませぬわ。で、この映画では恒例のテーマソングはまだ無し。その代わり冒頭の「キングストン・カリプソ」がその場面と共に強烈に鳴り響く。ジャマイカでは時代はもうスカに入ろうとしてましたけんど、まだまだ知られておらず。カリブつうたら「バナナボート」＝カリプソだろうよってことで。しかし英国人のバンドの皆さん、カリプソって言ったってよう、どうやらいいんだよってことで、当時渡英してましたギタリストのアーネスト・ラングリン氏が全面協力、指導したそうです。ラングリン氏といやあ、ジミー・クリフちゃんのあの７６年名作ライブでぐりんぐりんギターを弾いてましたレゲエのギターつうたらラングリンってな人だ。この映画の後、同様に全面指導したミニー・スモール嬢の「マイ・ボーイ・ロリポップ」でスカを世界にスカしたのでＲ。
ヒーロー、美女、セクシイ、アクション、スピード、スリル、テンポ、異国情緒、ナイス音楽で、これで一挙にブレーク、シリーズ化決定。
２作目は１９６４年の
「００７/ロシアより愛をこめて」
最初のタイトルは「００７/危機一髪」だったのが主題歌のヒットでいつのまにかこう呼ばれる。「ホワイト・アルバム」状態だー。製作布陣は１ｓｔと変わらず、監督テレンス・ヤング氏。音楽はもちろんジョン・バリー氏。なんつってもオリエント急行内でのロバート・ショー氏とコネリーおじさんの乱闘シーンだぜ。あれほど痛そうなのは滅多に見れず。やっぱ肉体だよな。映画は。
で、ここから恒例の００７ソングの歴史が始まります。歌うはマット・モンローさん。何となくそんな感じだろうつうアバウトなオリエント急行情緒炸裂です。マットさんもグランド・ホテルお抱え歌手味で高らかに歌う。ロック・ファンなら普通ならオゲエエ。だけど００７ならＯＫでしょ。少なくとも私はＯＫ。ただし他のマットさんの曲は・・・・・。
３作目は翌６５年の
「００７／ゴールドフィンガー」
監督だけガイ・ハミルトン氏に交代。主演はシャーリー・バッシーさん、じぇねえやコネリーさんだけど、この主題歌のインパクトたるや。２時間続けると窒息死してしまうつう金粉ショー姿と共に焼きつくぜ抜歯シャーリーさん。
「ゴオオオオオルド・フィンガー、ぺこぽん♪」てね。
まさに００７ソングの申し子。理由も無く堂々としております、はったり充分です。大味です。この方もロック・ファンならオゲゲエエかと。しかし００７ならＯＫ。他の曲は・・・・「サムシング」のカバーなんか凄ぇぞ。襲い掛かろうとしてるトルズ・ファンを懸命に止める関係者一同。
