飢えた心に最高のタイミングで最高の曲95点。
洋楽チャート駆け上がり、歌謡チャートでも最高位15位を目指します。
アメリカでも翌年の「グレイテスト・ヒッツ」発売に合わせてリリースも最高位97位。
イエスのヴァージョンの方が有名となってからに。

何でもスコットランドのバンド、クラウズ転じて1-2-3が
ポール・サイモン氏が1965年にロンドンのレヴィ・スタジオで録音したデモを聞いて
箱バンだったマーキーでの1967年4月での演奏、それがこの曲が世に出た初だったそうすが、
それを聞きに来てたのがリック・ウエイクマン氏で
