*カーディガンズの新譜が出る。１０月に。どんなバンドだったか思い出してみよう。って忘れる訳ぁありません。極め付けの個性のスウェーデン・バンドだ。このアルバムは９６年の３作目、”ほーみほーみ”のヒット曲「ラブフール」入り。新人さん新人さんと思ってたらもう１０年以上のキャリアなんだな。むむ月日は百代のカキャクだなや。いやこのバンド最高です。ロックもポップも歴史をこう重ねますと何もかもインフレ気味になっちまいますから音はやたら分厚くなるかインパクト過多のどぎゃーん。歌だってやたら表現ばっかでかくなって、私ってうまいのよーって大声やられてもやってなさいてなもんだ。人のカラオケショーを聴くのは接待じゃ無いんだから。と思わばメロディ無しゴロだけ勝負みたいなもんも跋扈してたりうんざりしてる人にその全て反対の喜びを与えてくれるのがこのカーディガンズ。アバ以来の伝統かいなこの無慈悲ボーカル。絶妙にメロディアスな曲は一発で来る一方、ほにゃらかしてっからねえ、繰り返しで味が出て来るって大体繰り返して聴きたくなる音楽ってここしばらくの連中じゃありゃしない。何でまたこんな浮世離れした。やっぱスウェーデンだからか。なんつうと偏見まりかな。曲はギターのピーター君が書いてるそうで。このお兄ちゃん、大のヘビメタさん。来日したら出演するんじゃ無いか。なのにこの曲調つうのも、屈折した愛だったりして。特にブラック・サバス好きつうのは前にサバス・ブラッディ・サバスのカバーしてたのでもわかります。あれは凄かった。聴いてください。笑い通り越して感動したぞ。今回もやってくれました。何とアイアンマンのカバー。これはちょっと無理筋な挑戦じゃないかー。原曲が既にＡＯＲしてたブラッディほどはまってないけどその荒業振りも楽しく。アルバム全部やたらよく出来てますからそのくらい無謀もたまにしてくれんと。その他のちょっとしたところでサバス・リフが出て来たりするのでメタル・ファン大喜び。聴くのかメタルファン、これを。製作のトーレ・ヨハンセンつう親父も面白い人みたいです。機械オタクらしい。ギターを買ったのが解体したかったからってあんた。元通り組み立てて勿体無いから弾き始めたとな。それで本拠地タンバリン・スタジオには怪しくも妖しい古の機材山盛り。それでこのたまらなく人臭い音が出るのか。昨今何だってデジタル箱一つで出来ちゃいますから、スタジオでもマイク・セッティングなんかの経験技術がどんどん消えていってるつう。こうゆう人のことなんかどうでもいいトンパチキチガイ親父は貴重です。だいたいロックってそうゆう連中の集まりだったけん。まあ、またマイナー化してるみたいだからもしかしてって期待はあるかも。さてカーディガンズ。新譜はどうなるのか。貫禄だけはついてもらっちゃ困る。勝手なこと言わせていただければ。前作はきわきわだったみたいだからちょっと心配です。新譜を滅多に買わないうちに無理やり買わせたらあんたの勝ちだ。負かせてくれ。
