*ザッパ大明神の感謝もついにここまで到達。ロクシー・ライブ、７４年９月リリースです。全ザッパ・アルバム、つうても家にあるものの中で最も好きです。あんこがピッチピチの鯛焼きのごとく、ああ、買って良かったって。ケチですから。嬉しいのなんのって。いくら聴いても飽きること無いから、安心していつでもかけることが出来るぞ。飽きちゃった人がいたら凄いな。これだけのアルバムですから、ザッパ名盤としてその名も轟き二郎、最初の一枚として選択する人も多いと聞きます。それがいいのか悪いのか。元来プログレ好きの方が聞いて断念とゆう話も。そうかもな。ありえーると頷く。だって黒いもん。黒いのが駄目だからプログレ聞いてるってこと多いかもしれませんから。もちろんその逆も有りです。ポップス好きの人が聞いたら・・・。うーむ。こんな楽しいアルバムだからもし何の因果か入手しちまったらとことん楽しんで貰いたいとは思うものの、障壁は高いかも。演ってる人々だって奇跡的な蜜月でここに集うって感じもあるから。ザッパさんが見つけてしまった音楽世界がこれで、それを実現するにはやろうと思う気持ち＋実現できる資質＋鬼のような猛特訓がメンバー全員にかせられ、とゆうことは聴く方にもそこまで付いて行く耳の特訓が必要で、それだけに捕まえた時の喜びは大きく。部活動みたいだな(^0^)。しかしそんなに難しいかなとも一方では思い。先入観ってやつが一番の障壁かもしれませぬ。こっち側の希望をそうそう聞いてくれるザッパさんでは無し。対決だ。
